Camphor Laurel Area

after initial preparation12 months later

Above left: View of an area on our site which is dominated by a canopy of camphor laurels. This shows the site after initial preparation in 1993 – clearing of weeds and mulching and the planting of small tube stock.

Above right: The camphor laurel area photographed approximately 12 months later. Growth of plants here was inhibited by the camphor laurels, however today the under-story is a mix of rainforest species with delightful Love Flowers (Pseudoanthemum variabile) the predominant ground cover.
