Ephemeral Pool and Surrounds

site preparationsite three years later

Above left: A natural depression was sealed to make a small frog habitat adjoining Frog Hollow.  The area was landscaped with a stone walkway and planted with ground covers and grasses Kangaroo and Barbed-wire grass, Native geranium, Gahnias and Juncas - all butterfly attracting plants. Natural regeneration is bringing a diversity of species such as wattles, Silky oaks and Hoop pines. Look at the site three years later (above right).
