Birds of the Cubberla and Witton Creeks Catchments

The following list of 223 species of birds, recorded in the Cubberla and Witton Creeks Catchments, is a compilation of lists made by the following people: Rod Brown between 1995 and 2002 in the upper reaches of the Cubberla Creek catchment - Jiro Kikkawa between 1965 and 2001 throughout the Cubberla Creek catchment - Dawn Muir between 1996 and 2002 from a number of areas in the Cubberla Creek catchment - Stuart Pell between 1987 and 2001 from the lower reaches of the Cubberla Creek catchment - Don Sands between 1984 and 2002 on his property in Fleming Road - Ian Venables between 1962 and 2002 throughout the Cubberla Creek catchment - and individual members of all bush care groups within the Cubberla and Witton Creek Catchments and other observing local residents.

The order of species follows The Taxonomy and Species of Birds of Australia and its Territories, Christidis, L. & Boles, Walter E., Royal Australasian Ornithologists Union, Hawthorn East, Vic., 1994. The six introduced species are emboldened.
